At Copeland Martial Arts & Fitness, we are proud to offer classes specifically for youths ages 13 to 17. These kids can train with their peers in a safe, clean, and fun-but-competitive environment. Here they will learn concepts such as focus, self-control, courtesy, respect for others, discipline, and concentration. They will receive a well-rounded exercise regimen including cardio and specific fighting techniques.
There are fewer afterschool options for kids these days. With schools cutting vital programs and the loss of funding to athletics, parents need schools such as Copeland Martial Arts & Fitness more than ever before. Health, nutrition, and exercise are very important to the growth and development of youths. Just two or three one-hour sessions per week will guarantee immediate results.
Kids need an outlet for their energy and creativity; but they also need to establish building blocks to succeed in school and life. Martial arts' training is the perfect way for youngsters to set and conquer their goals. There is no better way to promote health and fitness than taking one of our martial arts classes!
Our young students have proven to themselves, to their parents, and their instructors, that they have the ability to learn the concepts quickly. This gives the students the self-confidence and positive reinforcement that will allow them to improve at school, to develop stronger social connections, and to prepare them for the adult work world.
Our classes are open to boys and girlsI from 13 to 17 of any athletic background. We also encourage parents to come by as well. Who knows, you might see something that interests you as well.
